Zuma zoom zoom

You all need to check out Zuma. It’s from the same people who did Bejeweled. I’ve been playing it on the Xbox 360 Live Arcade, but I hear its also available for the PC. The closest thing I can compare it to would be Snood. Its very addictive. Check it out.

Xbox 360

Who says guys can’t get guy gifts when they get married? Sure, 99% of the gifts are things that the woman picks out but I think every guy should be able to get a little something that he will enjoy. That’s not to say that dishes, towels, silverware, and pots and pans aren’t fantastic, they just aren’t very entertaining. My brother, and best man, definitely came through for me on this one with an Xbox 360, an extra controller, the play-and-charge kit, and Project Gotham Racing 3.

I’ve been spending quite a bit of time with the system and I must say, I’ve very impressed. The best parts about it so far:

1. Finally, a first party wireless controller. Microsoft’s new controller is well-done and works perfectly.

2. You can turn on, and off, the console using said controller. Very cool. No more long trips to the TV from the couch, and back.

3. Physically, and graphically, superior to the original Xbox.

4. Xbox Live!

Online interaction with Xbox Live! is very tightly integrated with the Xbox 360. You can download movie trailers, game trailers, and game demos, all for free. For a price you can download things such as classic arcade games, additional game content, new themes and player pictures, all kinds of great stuff. Also, everyone has what is called a “Gamer Card” which you can view on the Xbox, and online, that keeps various stats on your gaming. You get a “score”, a reputation, accomplishments (for doing things in game). It also maintains a list of games you’ve played and when the last time it was that you played them. It may sound it bit “big brotherish” but it actually works quite well. Here’s my Gamer Card:

Love and Marriage!

Kristen and I are officially married! The wedding went off without a hitch just this past Saturday. There’s a few pictures already posted on the gallery. The pictures from the photographer are several weeks out still. We decided to hold off on the honeymoon for now and we’ll go later. Thank you everyone who came to the ceremony and to the reception, it was a great time!

Welcome Back!

Hi there! Welcome back to the Kristen and Adam.net website. Something went terribly awry a few months back and I’m just now getting around to fixing it up. Anyway, things appear to be working better now so we’ll try to work on getting this updated a little bit more regularly so everyone knows what is going on with us. In the meantime feel free to check out our photo gallery or post in the forum.
