Growing like weeds…

…small weeds but weeds none-the-less.  :)

Mckinley had her two month check up today.  She weighed 10lbs 13oz, just one pound over her birth weight!  That put her in the 50th percentile.  And she was 22 3/4″ long which is 70th percentile.  She’s definitely dropping down the curve.  I imagine our big baby is going to turn out to be a little peanut like the other two.

Piper also had her 2 year appointment today.  She weighed a whopping 24lbs and was 33″ tall.  20th percentile for weight and 37th for height.

5 Little Ducks

Tonight I sang 5 Little Ducks to the girls at bedtime and when I got to no little ducks coming back Addie sat up in bed and said “All the little ducks sank!”

I almost died laughing.  :)

And while you’re on youtube listening to the song check out our page, I added a new video (or two, we’ll see how ambitious I feel).

Another Appointment Update

First, Mckinley had her one month appointment a couple weeks ago and weighed 10lbs 1oz so finally more than her birth weight!

Second, we had our second appointment with the OT this afternoon.  She is happy with the amount of movement we’re seeing from the shoulder but we need to work on having her not turn her arm/hand in so much and get her bearing some weight on the arm to improve the strength of the bicep.  I think we’re going to start her on the 100 pushups program tomorrow.  :)

She does however want to us to see a neurologist because the arm is still painful to move up.  She said she’s never seen a baby in pain from Erb’s Palsy so she wants to have someone check it out just to make sure it isn’t an issue.  She was going to make some calls today to get us the referral from our pediatrician so hopefully we’ll get this set up quickly and painlessly.

We see the OT again in two weeks so I’ll keep you posted!
